Croque Monsieur





Ingredients:


  • 16 slices of bread form
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g of cream without milk
  • Sliced Ham
  • Gruyère cheese or thick grated ementhal
  • Nutmeg and salt to taste


Method of preparation:


  1. First, take a bowl and mix the eggs, sour cream, salt and nutmeg until it forms a very homogeneous cream and then store.
  2. Then take a baking sheet and 8 slices of bread, put them on the baking sheet and put half of the cream on top of all the slices making them well moist.
  3. Then put slices of ham and grated cheese on top and cover with the remaining slices of bread and wipe the remaining cream and add more grated cheese.
  4. Then bring to the preheated oven until the cheese melts and until golden brown.
